Operating out of Birmingham’s iconic Symphony Hall, the music charity B:Music needed a stunning brand identity, worthy of their incredible refurbishment and delicious offerings. Helping to engage their extensive and inclusive audiences who visit the venue, whilst raising awareness of their important work, using the power of music to transform lives.
We solidified the B:Music and B:Eats brand architecture, laying the foundations for the brand identity phase, where the vibrancy, creativity and progressive nature of the organisation was truly brought to life. Resulting in an exciting range of digital and physical assets, featuring eye-catching window displays, outdoor signage, seasonal menus and inviting online advertising.
Firmly establishing B:Music as a thriving cultural hub that also delivers positive social change.
The main inspiration for the design identity came from the sensory reactions we have to taste and music, and how both are mixed together at the B:eats venue.
The colours are a bright, vibrant and reminiscent of foods such as tomatoes & pesto, and are named after different musical genres and famous bands. The collage motif nods to the tangible nature of food, and also visually shows a mixture of different genres, musical instruments and food ingredients, helping show that the B:Eats venue is home to a wide range of different tastes and sounds.
